Cancellation of Vergina Tour on June 17th

We regret to infom you that due to the upcoming elections on Sunday June 17 all archaelogical sites and museums will be closed.

Delegates who have booked the Vergina Tour are kindly requested to contact the main registration desk to cancel or change their participation.

The excursion/cruise to Mount Athos will materialize on schedule (June 17), but we will also announce the Thessaloniki Tour on the same day.  There is also a chance the Archaeological museum of Thessaloniki to be open during the first shift/watch, but we will have this information only on Friday.

In addittion we will organize two tours on Saturday June 16, Vergina and Thessaloniki, where all sites and museums are open.

All above information will be available at the main registration desk, Athos Palace, Foyer Theodora.

June 14 - Arrival transfers

• 12:30 - For flights arriving until 12:00
• 14:30 - For flights arriving until 13:45
• 16:00 - For flights arriving until 15:30
• 18:30 - For flights arriving until 18:00
• 20:30 - For flights arriving until 20:00
• 22:00 - For flights arriving until 21:30
• 00:30 - For flights arriving until 00:10 (Night June 14 - Early June 15)

June 15 - Arrival transfers

Notes in reference to private transfers and shuttle services

• On June 14 and June 15 we will have "Meet and Greet" service at Macedonia Airport (SKG) after the exit of the luggage area.  Our assistants will hold congress signs and will guide you to the parking area.  They will also assist those reserved private transfers. 
• All shuttle service transfers will end their itinerary to the parking area of Athos Palace, Theofano Imperial Palace, and Pallini Beach hotels, all located within walking distance to each other.
• For those arriving on different dates, and have arranged private transfer, they will find the drivers at the exit of the luggage area holding sign with their names.
• For all departure transfers delegates are kindly requested to contact the conference secretariat at the hotel Athos Palace, foyer of Meeting Room Theodora, in order to reconfirm their schedules and pick up times.
• Driving time from airport to hotel or vice versa is aproximately one hour.

 

Notes in reference to the Social Program. 

• Delegates that wish to participate in a social event (dinner or excursion) are kindly requested to prebook in advance.  We will have limited time to change the number of participants for each event.

 

Internet Connection at the hotel / congress venue.

• There is free Wi-Fi connection only in the conference room Theodora and the three breakout rooms near the foyer of this room.
• There is also Wi-Fi connection in the lobby of the hotels.  Delegates will have to request a code from the reception of each hotel at the cost of Euro 20,00 per day (24 hours use).
• Finaly, there is an Internet Cafe in each hotel which is also charged.
